Dr. Samach graduated from Cornell University with "Distinction in all Subjects." He then received his MD degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center. After a two-year period in the Air Force, he returned to Montefiore for his G.I. fellowship. Dr. Samach is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association and a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is a past president of the New Jersey Gastroenterology Society and the Morris County Medical Society. He served for many years as Vice Chairman of The Department of Medicine and Director of the Endoscopy unit at Morristown Medicine Center. Dr. Samach has been included for seventeen years in the Castle-Connolly Survey as one of the Top Doctors in the NY Metro area and as one of the Top Docs in NJ in "Inside Jersey". He was also named one of “America’s Top Physicians” by the Consumer Research Counsel. Dr. Samach sees patients at the Morristown office.
