Affiliates in Gastroenterology (AIG) is among the most comprehensive and well established gastroenterology practices in the state of New Jersey. AIG is exclusively devoted to consultative gastroenterology. With offices located in Essex and Morris counties, AIG serves patients from throughout the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York areas.

We specialize in treating all diseases of the digestive system including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, liver diseases including hepatitis B and C, cancers of the digestive tract as well as diseases of the pancreas and gallbladder.

The physicians perform all procedures relating to gastroenterology including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), capsule endoscopy, esophageal manometry and pH testing, as well as hemorrhoid banding.

AIG has close affiliations with Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Morristown Memorial Hospital, where our physicians have maintained a variety of leadership roles.   In addition, they are involved with the education of medical students and residents.

Our doctors have trained at some of the finest medical centers in the United States and are all board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. They have received numerous teaching and distinguished service awards from area hospitals. In addition, the American Cancer Society has publicly honored AIG physicians for their commitment to the prevention of colon cancer. The members of the group are annually named “Top Doctors” in New Jersey Monthly Magazine. This distinction is based on surveys of the opinions of physicians throughout the state of New Jersey.
