Dr. William Sloan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania of Medicine and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Sloan completed his medical and gastrointestinal training at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City and is board certified. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of multiple other professional societies. He is a life member of “Who’s Who in America”, and has been chosen in the past as one of the outstanding physicians in New York and New Jersey area. He has authored several medical papers and has lectured on gastrointestinal subjects to peer groups. Dr. Sloan’s special interests include liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease, and he has performed over forty thousand endoscopic procedures in his career. Dr. Sloan’s professional credo is “do what you love, and love what you do”, and he does, every day. He was recently named a “Top Doctor” by Consumer Digest. Dr. Sloan sees patients at the West Orange office.
