Affiliates in Gastroenterology (AIG) is one of the largest and most well established gastroenterology practices in the state of New Jersey. AIG offices are located in Essex and Morris counties, but serve patients from all over New Jersey, as well as New York and Pennsylvania. AIG is a 100% consultative gastroenterology group and all the physicians are board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology.
Our physicians have trained at some of the finer medical centers in the United States. They specialize in treating all diseases of the digestive system including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis, liver diseases, including hepatitis b and c, cancers of the digestive tract, as well as diseases of the pancreas and gall bladder. The doctors perform all procedures relating to gastroenterology including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholongiopancreatography, (ERCP), sigmoidoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, esophageal manometry and capsule endoscopy.
AIG has close affiliations with Morristown Memorial Hospital and the Saint Barnabas Medical Center, where the doctors are involved with the education of medical students and residents. AIG has a clinical research department, making available to patients the latest developments in medications and medical technology. Most of our procedures are performed at the Florham Park or Hanover Endoscopy Centers, two state of the art out-patient facilities in which the physicians have an ownership interest with AmSurg, a national leader in out-patient surgical and endoscopic centers.
